Scarce enamel painted trade sign is 34 7/8" width x 22 15/16". Dutch Boy paint dealer's would set up local painting contractors with these dual advertising signs.... This fine example comes from a family member who long ago worked for National Lead.

It was bought in the New Jersey area in the 1960's. Been hanging indoors, in his office all those years. The tin is embossed or stamped with all the white lettering in relief. The iconic boy and his circle logo also are stamped. Heemskerk - 776 Lafayette Avenue - Hawthorne, N.

Is most likely done by stencil through a sign shop local to paint dealer. All defects are cosmetic, nothing wrong here. I imaged general scuffs and scrapes, use images as a guide.

Generally those examples were torn from mounting on jobs and had significant flaws. If you like paint advertising this is investment quality.
