VINTAGE c1956 PEPSI COLA TIN LITHO THERMOMETER SIGN EMBOSSED BOTTLE CAP

  

27" by 7 1/4" embossed tin hanging thermometer advertising Pepsi Cola with embossed bottle cap at the top and the slogan "The Light Refreshment" at the bottom. The original glass thermometer is in place and although not entirely accurate, seems pretty darned close when we tested it inside and outside. This sign has spent at least part of its life outside- the back shows surface rust and the the wooden box holding the thermometer is very worn. There is some slight surface corrosion on the very outside edge of the front and the inside edge around the thermometer with some slight loss to the graphics in both areas. The area above and below the thermometer area is not as shiny as the center, one tiny dent above the top hanging hole.

The overall surface has slight wear and scratches but I don't think it is at all detrimental to the looks of this great old piece.
