VINTAGE 1939 Coca Cola Tin Sign Thermometer 16 in original box
This sign was from my Grandfathers Red and White Store in Santa Ana. They never put it up and it sat in their closet until the 1990s when I inherited it. It's only been out of the packaging a few times. Condition: The finish is like new, it's never been in the light. There are blemishes to the tin, I've tried to show them in the photos. For instance, I don't see two dents in the box that match the two on the sign. The biggest problem I just now.
Over the years sitting flat the thermometer mercury split into two pieces as seen in first front photo. I decided to try to unite them using a hair dryer and caused the thermometer bulb to break. Results shown in the other photos.
