VINTAGE 1930s KURTH'S BREWERY WISCONSIN TOC TIN BEER SIGN POST PROHIBITION

  

Offering an original tin over cardboard Kurth's Beer sign from the Kurth Brewery of Columbus, Wisconsin. This brewery was in business from 1859 and closed in 1949. This sign is from the 1930's, measures 9 5/16" wide by 6 5/16" tall and was manufactured by the Scioto Sign Co. The sign is in excellent condition but does have a few very small dings, and scratches.

Around the border perimeter of the sign there is slight variation in the dark blue color which was apparently done during manufacture. I believe this because I own another of the same sign in my collection that has the same variation acquired from a different source. Awesome addition to any beer advertising collection.
