Vintage 1930s HIGHLANDER BEER TIN SIGN MISSOULA, MT MONTANA nice color+graphics

  

Here is an original 1930s Highlander Beer advertising sign that measures about 13 3/4" by 19 1/2" wide. Its made of tin and on the right are nice images of Highlander Beer bottles. The color and graphics look great on the labels of the two bottles. Highlander Pilsner Brew Beer was made by Missoula Brewing Company of Missoula, Montana.

This sign has nice color and graphics and displays well. There are two nail holes near the top edge (one in each corner).

There are also some mostly slight dents and bends. The most notable of the bends runs from near the top left corner towards the bottom right corner (where it stops along the bottom edge).

There are some minor wear spots along this long bend but nowhere along it appears to be any visibly flaking paint. Only a small bend in the bottom right corner shows about the only notable area where paint flaked away from a bend. Fortunately this small blemish or any others around the edges are not very big or distracting.

I was able to remove some of the staining around the edges with a (water only, no soap) dampened paper towel. I think a good cleaner could remove some of the other stains as well. Just about everywhere else the paint still looks nice with only some very minor wear spots and other minor marks (which are not quite as distracting). Even with the more visible bend and slightly less visible ones, this sign still displays well and looks to grade in good to very good overall condition.

Any overly bright spots are just glare/reflections from the light.
