HIGGINS PHOTO-MOUNTER FOR SALE HERE Antique Framed Tin Camera Store Advertising Sign measures 21 1/4 by 15 1/4 by 3/4. Sign shows age and wear with paint loss, fading, crazing, and some rust spots (see photos). I have been tempted to take it out of its frame to find a makers mark, expecting to see the name Beach or Meek from Coshocton, Ohio. The detailed lithography of the Cobea vine and the Photo of the young girl holding a BUNCH OF COBEA, as the Photo is titled, is consistent with their beautiful work. I would date this Sign to the early 1900s, certainly later than 1895, as evidenced by the repurposing of a tin sheet used to print the advertising of Talcum Powder on the reverse.
