ORIGINAL Vintage BORDEN ELSIE THE COW Dairy 24 Aluminum Stamped Tin Metal Sign

  

This is a very nice vintage original Borden Elsie advertising sign. It is made of heavy gauge embossed stamped aluminum and measures a bit over 24 across. It is used and shows some signs of use. I have included large pictures of each quarter of the sign so you can evaluate its condition for yourself. It has only the original six small mounting holes in it.

I thought that it had never been mounted, but upon closer inspection I found that one of the holes (in the top left) showed typical light mounting screw indenting, and the other five holes showed little if any evidence of use. All in all though, I think it is in rather nice condition for a used sign.
