1940s Vintage Rootbeer Sign Hires RJ Soda Fountain Grocery Tacker Tin Metal

  

This iconic old original advertising sign has rich colors and is in very nice condition! It says Hires RJ Root Beer with Real Root Juices, tiny print says Reg.

It is about 12" x 7", since it is flexible tin metal it did not survive through all these years without some signs of age including some slight corner bends, some tiny spots of paint flaking and some foxing around the edges, all gentle wear so overall I would rate about a 9 out of 10. Background color is a greenish blue, with a dark navy or black center and edges. Whether you set on a shelf or counter, frame or hang, it is a great period piece to add to your collection, last one I have!
